Thank you to everyone who supported the 
Christmas Quiz last Saturday evening. This event was hosted by John Rampton, who wrote all the questions and Christine Brown, who was the organiser and we thank them both for all their hard work raising funds for the pool campaign. Some lovely prizes were donated for the raffle; 2 bottles of wine from the Whitchurch Sports and Social Club, beautiful Christmas cupcakes from Melanie of Summer Daisy Cakes, yummy home made mince pies from Sarah Castle, a voucher from the Whitchurch Party Company, a lovely tote bag from Fiddlesticks & Jam, a very cuddly Rudolph donated by Whitchurch’s Tesco store, a Christmassy tartan antler mug created by Sarah Dutton, 19 Crimes wine from Catherine Russell and Russell Kennerley, and quite a number of other items, although I don’t know who donated them but I’m sure Christine would likely have had something to do with them! They included wine, Harvey’s Bristol Cream, tubs and baskets of sweets and chocolate and a large tin of shortbread. I’m delighted to tell you the night ended on a high of £510 which is fantastic! Thank you to everyone who contributed! Further exciting news is that John Rampton’s company offered match funding (up to £250) so that has been added to the pot bringing the total count that night to £760!
